KINDRED SPIRITS was formed in 1986, when two friends began publishing patterns and books featuring rug hooking, embellished clothing, primitive stitcheries, whimsical dolls, quilts and other folk art pieces designed with a charmingly "naive" look.
Sally and Alice specialize in creative rug hooking designs, such as hooked dolls, clothing embellished with hooking, and hooked pillows. Kindred Spirits designs have appeared on several occasions in 'Rug Hooking Magazine'.

wool rug yarn, punch needle kits, backing and over 150 patterns. Of the
patterns, 45 are from the Shelburne Museum in Vermont and 12 are Molly
Nye Tobey patterns( the museum has licensed RCR to reproduce these and a
portion of the sale goes back to the museum). The patterns are hand printed on
either monk's cloth or scotch linen. I also do repair work on yarn
