In the United States and Canada some 20 native species of wild roses are found widely distributed throughout the continent. Representative of these wild roses are smooth or meadow rose, the praire rose, the swamp rose, the pasture rose and the california rose.
A meadow would not be complete without a distribution of wild daisies dotting the field here and there.
