THE MAINE TIN PEDLARS
The Main Tin Pedlars will host their rug show and hook-in on Saturday April 17, 2004 at:

Woodfords Congregational Church

Vermont Fiber Retreat
November 13-14, 2004

WILMINGTON, VT � Adams Farm is proud to announce the inaugural Vermont Fiber
Retreat, to be held November 13-14, 2004. The two-day learning vacation
features some of the most well-known fiber artists in North America. Jill
Adams Mancivalano and her husband, Carl, welcome spinners, knitters,
weavers, dyers, rug hookers and general fiber enthusiasts to their family
farm in southern Vermont.

The Vermont Fiber Retreat offers workshops by Jeannine Bakriges, Norman
Kennedy, Amy Oxford, Deborah Pulliam, and Celia Quinn, as well as by the
Mancivalanos. In addition to the workshops, the Retreat features historical
and informative presentations, unique entertainment and Vermont-style meals.
Workshops include fiber preparation, spindle and great wheel spinning,
natural dyeing, working with novelty yarns, and needle-punch rug hooking.

In addition to the Vermont Fiber Retreat, Adams Farm hosts free weekly
instructional Spinning Bees and Knitting Circles, as well as daily
demonstrations during the summer and fall. The Fiber Arts Loft features
yarn and roving from Adams Farm�s own merino sheep and angora goats, as well
as supplies, books, videos and locally made quilts and knitwear.

Adams Farm is a working sixth-generation farm in southern Vermont, offering
the public seasonal activities and agricultural interactive experiences for
the whole family, as well as a complete Farm Store and Quilt & Fiber Arts
Loft. Adams Farm has been rated as a �Top Ten Vermont Attraction� by
