CANADA

Introduction to rug hooking using the punch tool - in this course, taught by established contemporary textile artist Jessica Thomas, you will start at the very beginning: from learning how to set up your backing, selecting patterns and yarns and of course using the punch tool to finish your rug or wall hanging within seven weeks. All materials will be provided to you and each step will be detailed in the fun and friendly environment of the Hawthorne Art Studios.

Absolutely no prior experience is necessary.

For the more advanced rug maker, workshops in colour theory, pattern design and how to interpret your stories into a memory rug are also offered.
