The 1840 House is located one mile from sandy beaches with tennis and recreation facilities rght next door. Come experience the beautiful coast of Maine and, of course, its savory seafood. Take out and dine-in restaurants are located nearby.

Directions -
Driving: Via Maine Turnpike (South or North) - :eave the ME Turnpike and Exit 42 (Payne Rd, Scarborough) turn right onto Payner Rd. Follow to traffic light; take right onto Route 1 (South). Go to next traffic light and turn left onto Pine Point Road (Rte 9). Proceed 2 miles. We are located on the right, beige cape cod, directly across fromt he United Church

Air: We are about 20 minutes from the Portland Jetport.

 
Projects: Kennebunk Beach Hook-Ins

There is a choice of 2 projects.

"Waldoboro Bird & Nest " (14" x 16") in primitive or fine cut.



"Bird and Grapes" (14" x 16") in primitive or fine cut.

 

Schedule - Kennebunk Hook-Ins

Check In is at 2:00 PM
Check Out is at 12:00 PM

A Wednesday night dinner will be held at the Franciscan Guest House from 6 - 7 PM.
Saturday night dinner will be held at a restaurant of your choice.

Schedule - 1840 House

Class sessions begin at 9:30am and end at 3:30pm with lunch from 12-1.

Instructions will include color planning and cover all styles of rug hooking (pictorials in either tapesty or primitive style, wall hangings, rug, etc.) Complete supplies will be available in the shop.

Please list any special supplies or custom dyeing that you will need me to do.

Registration is limited to ten (10). Send in your registration early (deadline - June 1st).

If cancellation is requested in writing by June 1st, 2010, a refund of $150.00 will be honored. No refunds after this date.

Fees and Registration

Kennebunk Beach Hook-Ins

Registration is $25.00 and must accompany your application in order toreserve your spot.

Worskhop:
 $200.00 for "Waldoboro Bird & Nest" which includes pattern, wool and instructions.
$200.00 for "Bird & Grapes" which includes pattern, wool and instruction.

Deposit of $200.00 is payable by July 15th, 2009 - November 15th, 2009 - January 10th, 2010 depending on the respective workshop you are requesting.

Hotel Accomodations:
Rates:Single Room: $367.82 - includes room tax, private bath, TV, 4 breakfasts and 3 dinners
Double Occupancy: $509.95 - includes all amenities above. Refrigerators are included in all rooms at no extra charge.

There is a microwave available for our use in the dining room.

 

To register for a workshop, please complete the online registration form, print and send a copy with your $25.00 registration fee. The form will be sent to Jackye Hansen once you hit submit, but a $25.00 registration fee will be required before your spot is reserved.
