This rug is the second one I've ever done. It was a labor of love since the sweet subject is our beloved dog Sophie, a five year old Cockapoo. She was posing like a model in front of my dad's cottage on the shore of Lake Ontario.

I did quite a bit of dying for this project, using not only ProChem dyes, but natural ones as well.......eggplant skins, onion skins, roasted chestnut hulls and coffee. It was a fantastic learning experience and I look forward to my next project.
